A private client in search of an exceptional natural yellow diamond—one with remarkable color, scale, and presence. After sourcing a 12.68 carat Natural Fancy Intense Yellow radiant diamond, the focus shifted to creating a timeless setting that would allow the gemstone to remain the undisputed centerpiece.
The diamond was paired with perfectly proportioned step-cut trapezoid side stones, creating balance without competing for attention. Crafted in platinum with an 18k yellow gold basket beneath the center stone, the finished ring was designed to enhance the natural warmth of the diamond while maintaining clean, architectural lines.
Completed as a private commission, the project showcases Geoffrey Scott's complete in-house process—from gemstone sourcing and design through fabrication and final delivery.
